| Welcome to Salem Honda/BMW, and thank you for visiting our website. Our company has been serving Oregon motorcyclists for many years. Here is a brief timeline of our history:
1962-Salem Honda established.
1972-Moved to current location on 13th St. and added BMW Motorcycles.
1980’s-Inflation and high interest rates made it hard to survive. A few different owners during this time.
1992-Current owner left BMW of North America and purchased the company.
1993-Became the first Ducati retailer in Oregon.
1996-Stopped selling snowmobiles and lawnmowers to focus on what we really love: motorcycles and ATV's.
1998-Started the now popular track days at Portland Intl. Raceway.
2009-Voluntarily gave up Ducati after 16 years.
2010-Recession ends, and BMW brings S1000RR
Our company delivers excellent motorcycles, ATV’s, parts, accessories, and technical abilities in an unpretentious, friendly setting. There are 3 generations of families in our customer base. We look forward to getting you into our “sport”, and then keeping you in it. Thank you for your support.

 Demo/Test Ride Policy: We're all riders here. We know that trying out a motorcycle is important to making your purchasing decision. There are a few rules as follows:
You have to have a motorcycle endorsement and riding experience.
Fill out a form making you financially responsible for any damage to the bike or others. Riding a passenger is not allowed.
Please bring correct riding gear. We have loaner helmets for your convenience. A staff member may ride with you on another bike if you don't know our area well.
